Bengaluru design & build studio
Interior Designers in Bangalore, Design and Build Under One Roof
Most interior design companies in Bengaluru draw your home and then hand the drawings to someone else to make. We don't.
One team answers for the result, from the first sketch to the last cabinet hinge.
The Haus Projekt is a design-and-build studio. We design your interiors in our studio, manufacture them in our own factory, and install them at your home with our own team.
Why design and build in-house matters
When the designer, the factory and the crew are different companies, things get lost between them.
A drawing says one thing, the workshop builds another, and the site team improvises. You end up chasing three parties who each blame the other. At The Haus Projekt the whole chain sits in one place.
Designed in our studio
Your designer takes your brief, draws the plan and stays with the project.
Built in our factory
A beam saw and CNC router, edge banding and a hot press, a dedicated spray booth and furniture making all happen in-house, at our Bengaluru factory. See the factory.
Installed by our people
The team that made your panels fixes them on site.
Because we control the making, we control the timeline and the quality. If something needs to change, it changes in our factory, not in a subcontractor's queue. Every unit is dry-assembled and checked against the approved drawing before it is wrapped, not after it is in your home.

How we start
We start with you, not a moodboard
Before we draw a single line, your designer asks questions like:
- What annoys you about your current home?
- Where do you actually spend your evenings?
- What do you never want to see again?
- What are you willing to spend more on, and where would you happily save?
- What do you want your home to feel like?
The answers become the brief. Good taste isn't a budget line, it's a conscious decision, and we help you make those decisions before the money is spent.
How it works: five steps
- Meet your designer. Tell us how you live, what you love and what your home needs.
- Confirm your order. We lock in scope, materials, pricing and the project plan.
- Design finalization. We refine every detail until the design feels unmistakably yours.
- Production and installation. We make it in our factory, bring it to site and put it together.
- Enjoy your home. Step in, settle down and live in it.
Interior design cost
What does interior design cost in Bengaluru?
Cost depends on the size of the home, the materials, how much custom joinery you want, and the finish level. For a rough idea, these are the ranges homeowners typically see across Bengaluru in 2026. They are market figures, not a quote from us.
- 2 BHK (about 1,100 sq ft carpet area): roughly ₹6 to 9 lakh for an essential fit-out, ₹9 to 15 lakh for a comfortable mid-range one, and ₹15 to 26 lakh or more for a premium one.
- 3 BHK: most projects fall between ₹10 and 25 lakh, depending on size, customisation, materials and scope.
- Villas and independent houses: these vary too widely for a range, so we price them once we understand your home and your brief.
- What moves the total most: the kitchen and wardrobes usually make up 50 to 60 percent of a 2 BHK budget, so those two choices matter most.
- How we quote: scope, materials, pricing and the project plan are locked when you confirm your order. Book a free consultation and we'll price your own home.
- Where we suggest you spend and save: we usually advise spending on hardware, lighting and joinery, and saving on things that matter less, like sofa fabric. If we're not the right fit for your budget, we'll tell you.

What our clients say
Meera Iyer, client
I said I wanted a home library and most designers nodded and moved straight to sofa fabric. They built the whole layout around my books first. That's the only reason it actually works.
Priya Reddy, client
We'd been burned before by a contractor who vanished mid-project. Here, the person who took our brief was still on-site three months later, checking the cabinet hinges himself.
Vikram Shetty, client
1,400 square feet sounds tight until you see what they did with the hallway — there isn't one anymore. Every inch counts as a room now.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose an interior designer in Bengaluru?
Look at finished projects in homes like yours, ask who actually manufactures and installs the work, and ask what happens when something goes wrong after handover. A studio that makes its own work can answer all three directly.
What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?
A designer plans the layout, joinery, lighting and materials, and often builds them. A decorator mainly works on furnishings, colour and styling. Most full-home projects need a designer.
How long does a full-home interior take?
In Bengaluru, a 2 BHK typically takes about 6 to 10 weeks of execution once the design is frozen, and a turnkey 3 BHK about 8 to 16 weeks, depending on approvals, materials and scope. We share the project plan for your home when you confirm your order. Because our factory is in-house, we schedule production ourselves instead of waiting on an outside unit.
Can you design just a kitchen, wardrobe or one room?
Yes. We take on projects of any size, from a single kitchen or wardrobe to a full home.
Do you work with apartments in gated communities?
Yes. We handle society permissions, working hours and material access rules as part of the project.
What does it cost to get started?
Nothing. Your first consultation is free.
